We had six hours of class today. Yeah. I decided not to bore you with my reflections on class haha.
In the evening, Jasmine, Laura and I had a nice dinner at a Chinese noodles restaurant and then took the subway station to Lujiazu, the financial district. Jasmine and Laura hadn’t visited the area at night so we walked around for a bit and took pictures of all the buildings that were lit up before we headed to the World Financial Center. We paid to go to the top of the Observatory, on the 100th floor. I thought the entire floor would be clear and it would feel as though we were hovering over Shanghai. Instead, there were three glass walkways in the hallway and floor-to-ceiling windows. The glass walkways were obscured by steel beams and what-not so we didn't get completely clear views below us. The walkways by the windows also had a slanting glass that made it seem like we might fall as we approached the window, even though we clearly wouldn't.
The 97th floor wasn't very impressive and we passed through it quickly and went down to the 94th floor had a bar, gift shop, and resting area. If they had shot glasses I probably would've bought one, but they didn't. They just had a lot of Expo souvenirs and a place you could send postcards. We taxi'd back and stopped at Cafe85 before seeing how the boys were doing at Kaiba. They essentially had a boys' night while watching one of the soccer games. Jasmine ordered food and Laura and I went to bed early.
